Join instructor, Jay Keck, SCWF’s bird guide, and admitted bird addict, to search for the beautiful songbirds at Moore Farms Botanical Gardens. After the walk we will return to the classroom for lunch* and a presentation on birds. Jay will walk us through identifying over a dozen bird species by ear. We’ll discuss tips on how to remember the songs, where you’ll likely hear the birds performing them, and what visual cues you can use to identify the bird once you see it. The cacophony of sounds can be overwhelming during the spring! Let Jay help you decipher what you’re hearing so your time in the woods can be even more enjoyable and productive this year!
